We have two locations at the moment. One is functional, and the other is in the construction phase.

CABIN IN ĶESTERCIEMS

A small cabin house surrounded by a forest in the corner of a small fishing village. It is around 1h drive from Riga by car. It is also reachable by bus from Riga, and the bus stop is ~10min walk from the cabin. This cabin was not specifically built for dark room retreats. However, it was successfully transformed into one by closing all the windows and eliminating all sources of light inside the cabin. The cabin has 2 rooms – a bedroom and a living room that can be used for yoga and exercising during the practice. The cabin also has a small kitchen with a teapot and a fridge in case you decide to go into the darkness without fasting. Hot shower, toilet are also present, of course.

CABIN in SKRIVERI

This is a specially selected location in the countryside that will be opened in spring. We are currently in the construction phase and plan to open the dark room cabin in March or April of 2026. We have managed all paperwork with municipality, and also built a water well, sewage system, and brought electricity to the location. This cabin is being constructed specifically for dark room practices. The 15m2 cabin will have just 1 room with a small kitchen corner and a separate bathroom with a shower and toilet. It will be located in the middle of a biological meadow in the countryside, away from any disturbances. We will start accepting the bookings as soon as the cabin is placed and tested by us to ensure a full darkness experience.
